Victoria Centre provides a meeting place for the multi-cultural and faith communities of Wellingborough. Activities usually include: A Friendship and Lunch Club for the over 50's, Preschool, After School Club, Holiday Clubs and English language classes. Staff work in partnership with other organisations on projects, the welfare of residents and community issues. However, as a result of the COVID 19 Crisis things have had to change at Victoria Centre.
We are still managing to provide our Preschool Service and Holiday Clubs, but our After School Club is suspended for the time being. For more details on this please keep an eye on our After School Page. Our Room Hiring and Party Bookings have also been suspended for the time being. Please see below for more details. However, we are excited to offer our latest Holiday Club to parents and Children keen to keep active this half-term...

MESSAGE FOR HIRERS - Suspending Hiring Till March 2021
Unfortunately, given increasing cases of COVID 19 across the Country and ever tightening COVID rules, it is with a heavy heart that our Management Committee has decided to suspend large group hires until Spring 2021. We plan to review this situation regularly and may even reverse this if Government advice and local conditions allow, before this time. However, at present we must do all we can to keep our staff and centre users safe and help reduce the spread of COVID 19 in our community.
Targeted Help - We are, however, up for having discussions with some groups where members are likely to be suffering as a result of ever increasing isolation. The 2 metre social distancing rules make operating large groups in Victoria Centre impossible at present, but where groups are prepared to explore having smaller sessions, we may be able to help, in limited circumstances. A letter detailing our approach for the next few months can be found here.
If you do wish to talk to us, in the first instance please email Marion Turner-Hawes, our Centre Manager on email@example.com
