Charlotte Blackwell has been appointed to the post of Admin Co-ordinator to replace Katrina. John Morrison, previously the evening Caretaker, has moved to the position of daytime Caretaker with the retirement of Heiner Wachter. Michael Vandrill has joined the team as evening Caretaker. After 13 years as Centre Manager, Edeltraud Freund retired on March 31st 2015 . Over the years Victoria Centre has been the ‘incubator’ for many local community organisations; e.g. Wellingborough Afro-Caribbean Association (WACA), the Hindu Community Centre, Pravasi Mandal (Asian Elders Group), and even ‘The Castle’ Theatre has its roots in community action at Victoria Centre. They have moved to their own premises and new groups are starting up again….
